Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Cristina pay $750
Cristina is behind on electricity and water bills after July's medical emergency and needs $750 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Cristina received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $750 is paid. She had never been late before July's medical emergency.
Cristina called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $195 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Cristina is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Cristina's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.

• Reconnection and late fees: $155
• Down payment on a payment plan: $185
