Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Christian pay $500
Help Christian cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The electricity and water account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $500. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $125 first, which I don't have.
I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $500 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $210
• Reconnection and late fees: $85
• Down payment on a payment plan: $205
