Don't let Tayo's family go through summer without gas

A disconnection notice for gas arrived and Tayo needs $100 before January.

The gas account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on January unless I pay $100. I have never been late before September's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Tayo's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $100 goes: • Utility arrears: $55 • Reconnection and late fees: $15 • Down payment on a payment plan: $30 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Tayo

  • I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.

    • Thinking of you, Tayo. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Greetings from Aberdeen.
