Don't let Mercedes's family go through the rainy season without heating
Help Mercedes cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The heating account is 2 months behind. Mercedes received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless $600 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Mercedes called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $85 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Mercedes is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $600 goes:
• Water arrears: $410
• Reconnection and late fees: $70
• Down payment on a payment plan: $120
