The gas account is 2 months behind. Jigna received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before September's medical emergency.
Jigna called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a disabled brother, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Jigna is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
