Don't let Bennett's family go through the rainy season without electricity and water
Help Bennett cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The electricity and water account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $550. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $145 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Bennett's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $550 goes:
• Utility arrears: $300
• Reconnection and late fees: $145
• Down payment on a payment plan: $105
With deep gratitude,
Bennett

Sending good thoughts. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Sydney but we're thinking of you.
Thanks for sharing this, Bennett. Looking forward to the next update. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Sending strength. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
