Dinesh needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Kolkata
Dinesh drives for a living in Kolkata, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 5 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $145
• Labor charges: $50
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
• Towing and inspection: $10
With deep gratitude,
Dinesh

Stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't give up. Take care
hope it all works out, Dinesh. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Toulon.
