Carolina's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at the Ribeirão Preto Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Carolina was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in February. The oncology team at the Ribeirão Preto Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Carolina is 31, worked as a bus conductor until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Ribeirão Preto Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $340
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $220
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,550
• Transport to the Ribeirão Preto Oncology Institute: $240
