Busisiwe's Hodgkin lymphoma treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Stellenbosch Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Busisiwe was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Stellenbosch Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Busisiwe is 24, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Stellenbosch Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $310
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $890
• Household costs while unable to work: $240
• Transport to Stellenbosch Cancer Centre: $260
