Back to business - Paisley's comeback in Los Angeles
Paisley has run a barbershop for nine years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $3,000 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a barbershop in Los Angeles. In May, a storm that collapsed the roof took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $1,100
• Initial stock: supplies: $570
• Shop repairs and licensing: $650
• Working capital for the first month: $680
With deep gratitude,
Paisley

Small update. $1,135 so far, I made the first payment toward initial stock: supplies.
Thank you all. We're at 28% now ($855). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts.

Thanks for sharing this. Shared this with my family. Love from Dwarka.
Praying for you, Paisley. This could happen to any of us. Please keep us posted. Greetings from Regensburg!
Wishing you peace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Belo Horizonte!
