Back on our feet: Rosa and a toddler and a seven-year-old in Palmira
A single father in Palmira needs help with childcare, groceries and rent while Rosa retrains.

After a divorce in January, I'm now raising a toddler and a seven-year-old on my own. I work as a part-time receptionist, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as an electrician in the evenings, which will triple my income by March, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $900 goes:
• Rent top-up: $400
• Childcare and after-school care: $165
• Groceries and school meals: $185
• Course fees and exam costs: $150
If you're reading this, thank you.

Sending love, Rosa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Cluj-Napoca donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Cluj-Napoca.
Thanks for sharing this, Rosa. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We're a small family in Jakarta Barat but we're thinking of you
Thinking of you and your family, Rosa. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Palmira.
