Back on our feet: Jakkrit and a toddler and a seven-year-old in Phuket
Jakkrit and a toddler and a seven-year-old need a bridge to stability after the death of my husband.
🇹🇭 Thailand584 views
After the death of my husband in October, I'm now raising a toddler and a seven-year-old on my own. I work as a school kitchen assistant, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a dental nurse in the evenings, which will triple my income by January, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $900 goes:
• Rent top-up: $260
• Childcare and after-school care: $340
• Groceries and school meals: $145
• Course fees and exam costs: $155
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Jakkrit?
Thank you. If you're in Phuket I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Good question.
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Love from São Paulo.
