Back on our feet: Dhruv and a teenage son and a daughter in primary school in Mumbai
After my partner leaving, Dhruv is raising a teenage son and a daughter in primary school alone and needs $600 to stay afloat for 5 months.

Last August I went through my partner leaving, and I'm now raising a teenage son and a daughter in primary school on my own. I work as a care worker, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a medical coder in the evenings, which will triple my income by October, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Money goes toward rent, groceries, after-school care and the cost of my course. I'll give a monthly update with receipts.
Where the $600 goes:
• Rent top-up: $260
• Childcare and after-school care: $155
• Groceries and school meals: $90
• Course fees and exam costs: $95
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

best of luck, Dhruv. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Shared it with a few friends. After 28 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Oaxaca de Juárez
how is Dhruv doing now?
hope it all works out. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings
Sending love, Dhruv. Looking forward to the next update. All the best.
Praying for you. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out
Hang in there, Dhruv. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
so sorry you're going through this, Dhruv. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon.
