Anum was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at Lahore University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Anum is 53, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lahore University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,200 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $250 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100 • Scans and lab work: $140 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $710 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Usman
