Anika needs a full set of tools to reopen a bicycle repair shop
Anika lost a full set of tools to floodwater and needs $300 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For nine years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Prayagraj. In March, floodwater took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $300 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $160
• Initial stock: spare parts: $60
• Shop repairs and licensing: $55
• Working capital for the first month: $25
Thanks for being kind about this.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Anika.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. replacing a full set of tools is the biggest at $160. Let me know if you want more detail.
Thanks for sharing this, Anika. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. All the best.
Keep going, Anika. I hope things turn around soon. After 8 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything
you're not alone, Anika. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless.
so sorry you're going through this, Anika. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours.
can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Prayagraj!
Thank you. If you're in Prayagraj I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
Praying for you, Anika. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Ikeja.
So sorry you're going through this. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Thanks for sharing this, Anika. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Blessings.
Thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Prayagraj.
Take care. Looking forward to the next update. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Khulna
best of luck, Anika. This could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours. Take care
Hope things get better soon, Anika. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. All the best.
