Agnes needs a full set of tools to reopen a bicycle repair shop
A bicycle repair shop in Stockholm needs help replacing a full set of tools after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇸🇪 Sweden973 views
For four years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Stockholm. In May, a storm that collapsed the roof took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $1,000
• Shop repairs and licensing: $350
• Initial stock: spare parts: $300
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Agnes
It's all in the list in the story. replacing a full set of tools is the big one at $1,000, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
Hope this works out for you. After 12 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Stockholm.
Looking forward to the next update. Love from Savar.
Take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Fresno.
Hope it all works out, Agnes. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
