Acacia Park needs a covered market stall space - Janet's neighborhood project
A community-led a covered market stall space at Acacia Park that will serve 307 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 307 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $620
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $20
I hope life is good to you.
