A youth football pitch for the Maple health centre yard: help our neighbors in Ludhiana

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350. It will serve about 572 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $350 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $55 • Tools hire and delivery: $80 • Materials: $215 Glad we found this place.
