We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $1,300 for materials.

Uberlândia
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty community hall, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,300. It will serve about 202 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $1,300 goes: • Materials: $1,050 • Permits and inspections: $40 • Safety equipment and signage: $90 • Tools hire and delivery: $120 Every share and every dollar helps. - Roberto
