A youth football pitch for the Harmony health centre yard: help our neighbors in Savannah
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $4,250 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $4,250.
It will serve about 139 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $4,250 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $480
• Safety equipment and signage: $340
• Materials: $3,430
