A youth football pitch for Liberty Park: help our neighbors in Rawalpindi

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 122 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $400 goes: • Materials: $280 • Permits and inspections: $40 • Safety equipment and signage: $15 • Tools hire and delivery: $65 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
