A solar-powered water pump for Liberty Park: help our neighbors in Mandaue
A community-led a solar-powered water pump at Liberty Park that will serve 548 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $240, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 548 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $570
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
Every share and every dollar helps.
