A service dog for Zoya, an army veteran in Kyiv
After ten years of service, Zoya is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.
🇺🇦 Kyiv, Ukraine639 views
Alexander served ten years in the army and was discharged in 2024 with chronic tinnitus. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $950.
Alexander is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $950 goes:
• Training provider fees: $270
• Housing deposit and first month: $480
• Transport to appointments: $55
• Essential household items: $145
Thank you for reading my story.

rooting for you, Zoya. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Oakland donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
