A service dog for Manfred, an air force veteran in Berlin
Manfred served twelve years in the air force; $4,200 would cover a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served twelve years in the air force and was discharged in 2023 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $4,200.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,200 goes:
• Training provider fees: $1,100
• Housing deposit and first month: $2,350
• Transport to appointments: $360
• Essential household items: $390
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Thrissur
Best of luck, Manfred. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
Rooting for you, Manfred. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
