A service dog for Hudson, an army veteran in Santa Fe
After fourteen years of service, Hudson is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served fourteen years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with a service-related knee injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $4,900.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,900 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,450
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,600
• Transport to appointments: $290
• Essential household items: $560
Glad we found this place.

Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 8 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Keep going, Hudson. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best.
I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Sukkur this morning. God bless.
Best of luck, Hudson. It takes guts to ask. Well done. It's not much but it's yours.
hope it all works out. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Santa Fe.
Best of luck, Hudson. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Da Nang.
You're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Riverside
