A sensory garden for children with autism for Union Primary School: help our neighbors in Alcalá de Henares
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $950 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $950.
It will serve about 96 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $950 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $115
• Materials: $560
• Tools hire and delivery: $275
Thanks for reading all this.

shared this with my family. I hope April is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Alcalá de Henares.
Wishing you the best. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Tiruchirappalli.
Sending good thoughts. More neighborhoods should do this. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Take care, Luis. I hope things turn around soon. Don't give up. Greetings from Bacolod
keep going. Great idea, hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
