A sensory garden for children with autism for the old Acacia bus depot: help our neighbors in Faisalabad
Volunteers in Faisalabad are raising $400 for a sensory garden for children with autism at the old Acacia bus depot.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 188 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Materials: $330
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
• Permits and inspections: $5
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
