A rainwater harvesting system for the old Freedom bus depot: help our neighbors in Sacramento
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $3,600 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Freedom bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,600.
It will serve about 178 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
