A rainwater harvesting system for the Acacia community hall: help our neighbors in Warsaw

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia community hall, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $600. It will serve about 442 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $600 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $260 • Permits and inspections: $140 • Safety equipment and signage: $200 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Julia
