A rainwater harvesting system: a volunteer-led effort in Regensburg
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $3,600 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,600.
It will serve about 251 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,600 goes:
• Materials: $2,750
• Permits and inspections: $230
• Safety equipment and signage: $350
• Tools hire and delivery: $270
