A fresh start in Kikuyu: help the Tesfaye family resettle
The Tesfaye family are rebuilding in Kikuyu after leaving Afghanistan; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Afghanistan 13 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Kikuyu. We're a family of five and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in September.
I was a pharmacist in Afghanistan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $550 goes:
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $110
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $70
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $45
• Rent deposit and first month: $325
I hope life is good to you.

Take care, Beatrice. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Kraków donated after I showed her your page. Love from Kraków

gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best
