A covered market stall space for the old Pioneer bus depot: help our neighbors in Gulu

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Pioneer bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $100. It will serve about 437 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $100 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $55 • Permits and inspections: $40 • Safety equipment and signage: $5 Thank you so much.
