A covered market stall space for the Baobab health centre yard: help our neighbors in Kadıköy

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 337 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $400 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $95 • Tools hire and delivery: $70 • Materials: $235 Thanks for being kind about this.
