A covered market stall space for the Baobab community hall: help our neighbors in Juiz de Fora
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $1,000 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $100, and the remaining cost is $1,000.
It will serve about 105 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Materials: $690
• Permits and inspections: $110
• Safety equipment and signage: $115
• Tools hire and delivery: $85

Thinking of you and your family, Francisca. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Gothenburg.
Hope things get better soon, Francisca. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
Wishing you the best, Francisca. Shared this with my family. God bless
