A covered market stall space: a volunteer-led effort in Jaipur
Volunteers in Jaipur are raising $460 for a covered market stall space at the Baobab health centre yard.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $460.
It will serve about 212 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Materials: $370
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
• Permits and inspections: $5
