A covered market stall space: a volunteer-led effort in Gatineau
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $2,550 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,550.
It will serve about 559 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

Thank you all. We're at 50% now ($1,280). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for materials is now scheduled.
Quick update: $720 raised so far (28%). the plan for tools hire and delivery is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
