A community garden for the Pioneer community hall: help our neighbors in Ogbomosho
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $500 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 518 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $390
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
