A community fridge for Pioneer Park: help our neighbors in Beersheba
Volunteers in Beersheba are raising $2,800 for a community fridge at Pioneer Park.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $350, and the remaining cost is $2,800.
It will serve about 334 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $135
• Materials: $2,350
• Tools hire and delivery: $315
