A community fridge: a volunteer-led effort in Bandung
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $300 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 229 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $185
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $25

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. materials is the biggest at $185. Thanks, that means a lot.
