Zahra Zahra Kurniawan
Youth swimming coach and mentor

- 2017 to 2025

I coached swimming at Jakarta Community Club from 2017 to 2025. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Zahra
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Zahra: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
