Olumide Chinedu Yakubu
Choir director and singer
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Epe Quartet
- 1980 to 1990
- English, Igbo
I play tabla and bass. I started in 1980 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Olumide
I wrote my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
