Naliaka Margaret Kipchoge
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- The Rosewood Workshop
- Since 2017
- English, Swahili
I've worked in carpentry since 2017. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 540 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Naliaka
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
