Joaquim Felipe Vieira
Masonry for 28 years in Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Riverside Workshop
- Since 1998
- Portuguese, Spanish
I've worked in masonry since 1998. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 700 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Joaquim
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Joaquim: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
