Ji-woo Ji-yeon Hwang

24 years teaching economics in Gangnam

  • 🇰🇷 Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea
  • Gangnam Primary School
  • Since 1990
  • Korean, English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 36 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Ji-woo

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
