Ifeanyi Nnamdi Afolabi
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- The Brookfield Trades Guild
- 2012 to 2022
- English
My trade is pottery. I opened my own shop in 2012 in Ikeja and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I'm still learning every day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ifeanyi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
