Bicycle repair, done properly
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Old Wudil Shop
- Since 1996
- English, Yoruba
I've worked in bicycle repair since 1996. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 630 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
More about Bolaji
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Bolaji: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
