I've coached baseball at Embakasi Lotus Youth Club since 2017. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Akinyi
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Akinyi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
