Zeynep needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
A laundry service in İzmir needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after floodwater.

For six years I have run a laundry service in İzmir. In July, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $590
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $130
• Shop repairs and licensing: $145
• Working capital for the first month: $135
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending love. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Dhaka so I could bring a meal
Thinking of you, Zeynep. Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Ubud.
Sending good thoughts, Zeynep. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Zeynep?
Thank you. If you're in İzmir I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Good question.
Stay strong, Zeynep. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Kyiv so I could bring a meal. All the best
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Houston.
Best of luck, Zeynep. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Hang in there, Zeynep. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
