Weston needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Grand Rapids

Without my tuk-tuk Weston can't work; a $1,850 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 5 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,850. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,850 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,250 • Labor charges: $135 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $320 • Towing and inspection: $145 Glad we found this place. - Weston

  3. 69% there. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts. Thank you.

  • sending strength. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Thinking of Grand Rapids.

    • is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Weston.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. fuel pump replacement (parts) comes first ($1,250) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.
