Wendy needs my tuk-tuk repaired to get back to work in Spokane
Wendy drives for a living in Spokane, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 12 weeks.
🇺🇸 United States2,223 views
I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,550. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $1,050
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $350
• Towing and inspection: $150
If you're reading this, thank you.

Thinking of you and your family. Small businesses are the heart of Spokane. Hope you're open again soon. Greetings from Leeds
Wishing you the best, Wendy. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings
Hang in there, Wendy. It takes guts to ask. Well done.

thanks for sharing this, Wendy. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Shubra so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Spokane.
